Your journey begins in the remote port of Kalabahi and concludes in the historic spice hub of Ambon, taking you on an unforgettable voyage across the heart of the Banda Sea. Over 11 days, this route weaves through volcanic islands, untouched reefs, and rich cultural landscapes—from the smoking crater of Komba Island to the coral-covered walls of Pulau Suanggi.

You’ll encounter everything from vibrant hard coral gardens and dramatic underwater arches to black-sand muck sites teeming with macro life. Expect thrilling encounters with schooling hammerheads, swirling barracuda, sea snakes, and—if luck is on your side—even a dugong or a blue whale. Highlights include the explosive coral regrowth at Banda’s famous Lava Flow and the haunting beauty of Gunung Api, home to hundreds of curious sea snakes.

Above the surface, the adventure continues. Visit remote Alorese villages where dancers in handwoven ikat celebrate centuries-old traditions, and explore a Dutch colonial fortress that whispers stories of the spice trade. With up to 30 dives and a wealth of cultural moments, this expedition offers a rare and deeply rewarding blend of world-class diving and authentic Indonesian heritage.
